Lydaco Music & Booking sprang from my life-long passion for music, a desire to support artists, build community, and make a positive difference through music. Established in Columbia, MO in 2012, Lydaco Music has served as a platform for my diverse musical interests and projects. Early on, I presented five local songwriting workshops. I also presented 15 listening room shows featuring: The Honey DewDrops, Jonathan Byrd & The Pick Up Cowboys, Buddy Mondlock, Owen Temple, Kelley Mickwee, John Batdorf & James Lee Stanley, Natalia Zukerman, Jeff Campbell, Danny Schmidt & Carrie Elkin, Noah Earle, ilyAIMY, Rachael Sage, Neptune's Car, Lyal Strickland and Jack Williams. You can view videos from these concerts on my YouTube channel (links above).
Over the years, Lydaco Music evolved into Lydaco Music & Booking. I met John Batdorf (Batdorf & Rodney/Silver fame) at a house concert. Soon after, I began assisting John with booking his annual tours to the Midwest. My scope grew from regional to national, as other artists around the country reached out to me requesting help with tour dates.
Touring artists I have supported in booking shows: Carrie Elkin & Danny Schmidt, Jeff Campbell, Korby Lenker, Melissa Greener, Jonathan Byrd & The Pickup Cowboys, Kelley Mickwee, Kira Small, Michelle Lewis, Owen Temple, Mark Stuart, and The Honey Dewdrops.
Amazing national/international touring artists who I have formally represented: Adler & Hearne, Neptune's Car, Steff Mahan, Ben Bedford, Rod Picott, These Fine Moments, Charlie Roth, Matt Fockler, Terry Klein, Stone & Snow, John Flynn, Grant Peeples, Chuck Brodsky, J Wagner, Rupert Wates, Jess Klein, Rachael Sage, Amy Speace, Nicole Wagner and of course, my friend, John Batdorf.
UPDATE: As of July 1, 2025 I have "paused" artist booking and will no longer maintain an artist roster through the latter half of this year.
If you are a venue or presenter and I booked a show with you, I am still servicing 2025 shows --so please get in touch with me for any help or info needed.
I do want to express heartfelt thanks to every touring artist and music venue, presenter or house concert host that I’ve had the privilege of working with over the past 13 years—especially in the post-pandemic stretch, as we came together to bring live music back online.
I’ll return in January 2026 with updates on future plans. Until then, thank you ALL for your continued support of so many wonderful touring artists and festivals, and venues - and thank you for all that you do!
Much love, Vicki
